Astros Hold Off White Sox

The Astros took down the White Sox 3-2 in Chicago. Chas McCormick's RBI double in the top of the fourth put Houston up 3-0 and ended up being the eventual game-winning run. Framber Valdez earned his 12th win after giving up two runs in seven innings, and Ryan Pressly picked up his 24th save. The Astros have won five of their last seven contests. Houston sends righty Luis Garcia to the mound this afternoon.
