The FBI is reporting the rescue of three children in the San Antonio and Austin areas after a crackdown on sex trafficking. State and local police joined the FBI for Operation Cross Country, a two-week action in August. The FBI says nearly 400 separate operations were conducted during the 14-day span, rescuing 84 minors nationwide, 37 of whom had been reported missing. FBI agents and the other officers also found 141 adult human trafficking victims. They arrested 85 suspects for child sexual exploitation and human trafficking.
