Cowboys Lose, Texans Win Preseason Openers

The Cowboys took a loss in their preseason opener. Dallas fell 17-7 to the Broncos in Denver. Cooper Rush started for the Cowboys, but completed 12-of-20 passes with an interception. Ben DiNucci threw a touchdown pass in the loss for Dallas, which next visits the Chargers on Saturday night. Meanwhile, the Texans beat the Saints 17-13 in Houston. Jeff Driskel tossed two TDs and three picks in the victory. Houston visits the Rams on Friday night.
