The Longhorns are adding another top recruit to their 2023 class. Four-star running back Cedric Baxter Jr. announced Wednesday that he is committing to play at Texas. Baxter chose the Longhorns over offers from Texas A&M, Florida and various other schools. The 6-foot-2 back becomes the 22nd 2023 commit for Steve Sarkisian and Texas. Baxter is ranked 58th overall in ESPN's 2023 recruit rankings.
