The Rangers struck for five runs in the top of the 10th inning as they beat the Astros 8-4 in Houston. Marcus Semien gave Texas the lead in extras with a sacrifice fly and Leody Taveras knocked in three with a bases-clearing double. Taveras had two hits and five RBI in the victory. Taylor Hearn got the win in relief for the Rangers, who improved to 49-and-61. Phil Maton was tagged with the loss for Houston, which fell to 71-and-41. Kyle Tucker and Yordan Alvarez each went deep in the losing effort.
