The Texans are swinging a trade before their preseason opener. Houston acquired tight end Adam Shaheen from the Dolphins in exchange for a 2023 sixth-round pick. The Texans also got a 2023 seventh-round pick as part of the deal. Shaheen caught 12 passes for 110 yards through 12 games in Miami last season. He'll add some depth to the roster after Antony Auclair suffered a knee injury in camp. The Houston Chronicle reports running back Darius Anderson will have season-ending surgery after dislocating his knee in camp.
