The manager of Texas’ electric grid is confident in its supply of power as heat hits the state again. The Electric Reliability Council of Texas says demand is not expected to top 80-thousand megawatts while capacity hovers between 86,000 and 89,000. A Heat Advisory is in effect for a large part of the state including Dallas, Texarkana, Austin, San Antonio, and parts of the Rio Grande Valley.
