Bregman, Astros Top Mariners

Alex Bregman knocked in three runs as the Astros topped the Mariners 4-2 in Houston. Bregman hit his 13th home run of the season with a two-run shot in the first inning. He also broke a 2-2 tie in the bottom of the eighth with an RBI double. Rafael Montero picked up the win in relief, while Ryan Pressly secured his 21st save. Houston improved to 65-and-35 and sends right-hander Justin Verlander to the mound tonight.
