The principal of the Uvalde elementary school where 21 people were murdered is being placed on leave. Mandy Gutierrez's attorney confirmed the development, saying she'd been suspended with pay on Monday. It comes after a special legislative probe into May's mass shooting found Gutierrez was aware of, but did not properly address, security problems at Robb Elementary School before a gunman was able to walk and kill 19 students and two teachers.
