Astros Sweep Yankees In Doubleheader

The Astros are coming away from their doubleheader with the Yankees with a pair of wins. The Stros completed the sweep of the twin bill after taking down the Yanks 7-5 in Houston. Luis Garcia picked up his eighth win of the year after holding New York to a pair of runs over five innings of work. Yordan Alvarez and Alex Bregman slugged back-to-back homers in the first inning. Chas McCormick also went deep in the win for Houston. Domingo German suffered his first loss of the season. Gleyber Torres and Aaron Judge each hit a long ball for the Bronx Bombers in defeat. Houston is now just two and a half games back of New York for the top spot in the American League.
