Corey Seager had a short outing at the MLB Home Run Derby. The Rangers shortstop was eliminated in the first round after hitting 24 home runs. Seager was bested by Mariners outfielder Julio Rodriguez, who dominated the opening round with 32 homers. Seager actually had the second most moonshots in the first round, but Rodriguez led all batters with his impressive outing. Nationals outfielder Juan Soto went on to win the Derby.
