The Border Patrol is now making use of a new facility in Eagle Pass to process the ongoing influx of illegal immigrants. The 153,000 square foot facility opened this week and can reportedly handle up to a thousand people at a time. The Border Patrol says the facility is made up of climate-controlled white tents and is designed to process people who don't pose a security threat. By Thursday morning, it was already reported to be near capacity.
