San Antonio Metropolitan Health District is reporting that two people in Bexar County have tested positive for monkeypox. Both patients are isolated until the infection runs its course. Metro Health has notified their close contacts and says the threat to the community is low. Texas had 42 reported cases of monkeypox as of Wednesday. Six confirmed cases are in Austin, along with another seven presumptive cases.
