The Minnesota Twins avoided a sweep by beating the Texas Rangers 6-5 at Globe Life Field. Ryan Jeffers hit a go-ahead home run in the top of the sixth that put the Twins up for good. Byron Buxton also went deep in the victory, and Dylan Bundy earned his fifth win after allowing four runs in five innings. Tyler Duffey earned his second save as the 48-and-40 Twins increase their AL Central lead to four-and-a-half games over the Guardians. Corey Seager hit a solo home run in the losing effort, and Brock Burke was tagged with the loss out of the bullpen. Texas has dropped five of seven.
