The Rangers dropped a close one in their road series opener. Texas fell 7-6 to the Orioles in 10 innings in Baltimore. Matt Moore suffered his first loss of the year after plunking Jorge Mateo with a pitch with the bases loaded in the bottom of the 10th. Mitch Garver and Marcus Semien each went deep for Texas in the defeat. The Rangers fell to 37-and-41. Texas sends right-hander Spencer Howard to the hill tonight.
