The Rockets are parting ways with John Wall. Yahoo Sports reports the 31-year-old guard is securing a contract buyout with Houston and will become an unrestricted free agent. Wall will reportedly give back $6.5 million in salary as part of the agreement and can finally return to the court after sitting out last season. The five-time All-Star guard averaged 20.6 points and 6.9 assists in just 40 games after being traded to the Rockets in 2020. ESPN reports Wall is planning to sign with the Los Angeles Clippers when he clears waivers.
