Texas Democrats are furious over the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe versus Wade. Co-Executive Director Hannah Roe Beck says no one should be forced to carry a pregnancy they don’t want. She also called Texas an “incredibly dangerous place to live” for women who want to get an abortion. Roe Beck adds it’s also proof that Democrat need to win the governor’s race and get majorities in the Texas Legislature this November to enact pro choice legislation helping soften “today’s national trauma.”
