Yordan Alvarez launched a pair of home runs as the Astros defeated the Mets 5-3 in Houston. Alvarez went deep in the first and third innings as he upped his season total to 21 jacks. Alex Bregman also went deep for Houston, which improved to 43-and-25. Luis Garcia picked up his fifth win after allowing three runs in five frames and Ryan Pressly locked down his 14th save. The Astros visit the Yankees tonight and left-hander Framber Valdez toes the rubber.
