Seven people were shot and two people were killed on the city's southwest side.
Police say it happened during a family BBQ in the 2500 block of Patron Drive on Saturday night.
Police say they were called just after 10 p.m. on a report of a shooting in progress. Eyewitnesses reported a family was having a barbecue in the front yard of their home when someone pulled up in a car and opened fire.
Five men and two women were wounded. Two of the men later died. A number of children were in the house playing at the time, but were not hurt. Police are continuing to look for a suspect.
