Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton says he's investigating Twitter to find out how many of its accounts are actually bots and fake users. Paxton announced the probe on Monday, saying the social media platform may be overstating the number to inflate its value and increase its revenue. Twitter claims spam accounts make up no more than five-percent of its daily active users. Paxton says it could be more like 20-percent. Paxton is requiring Twitter to hand over documents revealing how it calculates and manages its user data.
