Employees at several Northside ISD campuses claim school administrators pressured them to vote on a May 7th bond measure. Officials also reportedly kept track of whether employees had voted, and threatened discipline if they didn't. The billion-dollar school bond passed with more than 57% of the vote. Governor Greg Abbott says the Texas Education Agency and Texas Attorney General are investigating whether messages sent by an NISD principal to his staff in April violated state law.
