San Antonio city officials are encouraging teenage drivers to make it safely through the summer months. Students from Johnson High School's Safe Driving Club appeared at City Hall for Tuesday morning's rollout of the Drive Safely SA campaign. City leaders and AAA say the 100-days from Memorial Day to Labor Day are the deadliest for teen drivers, and Texas has more fatal crashes involving teen drivers than any other state. Contributing factors are distracted driving, speeding, drinking, not buckling up, and inexperience.
