A Texas Congressman is calling for a federal investigation into the police response to the school shooting in Uvalde. Representative Joaquin Castro is requesting the FBI to use its "maximum authority" to look into the timeline of events on Tuesday following what he says are conflicting reports from state law enforcement agencies. Castro wants the bureau to investigate whether the shooter exchanged gunfire with a school security officer outside of Robb Elementary, along with allegations that parents unsuccessfully urged responding officers to enter the school while shots were being fired inside. The Congressman said the American people must have a complete and comprehensive account of the incident.
