Texas voters head to the polls today to decide some election runoffs.
Voters will decide the Republican runoff in the race for Attorney General, with Ken Paxton being challenged by George P. Bush.
A primary runoff result in South Texas today may key on what Democratic voters think about abortion. U.S. Rep. Henry Cuellar faces challenger Jessica Cisneros in the runoff for the state's 28th Congressional District. Cuellar is a rare conservative Democrat with a pro-life record, while Cisneros is a left-wing attorney and abortion advocate. The runoff may indicate whether Democrats are fired up by a leaked draft Supreme Court opinion about possibly overturning Roe v. Wade. Forecasters are giving the edge to Cisneros.
