The Astros are dropping the opening game of their home series. Houston fell 6-1 to the Guardians at Minute Maid Park. The Astros managed only four hits and drew two walks in the losing effort. Luis Garcia suffered his third loss after giving up four runs, two earned, over five frames. Alex Bregman homered for Houston, which fell to 27-and-16. The Astros send left-hander Framber Valdez to the mound tonight.
