The Astros came up short in their road series. Houston lost 5-1 to the Red Sox in Boston. Luis Garcia suffered the loss after giving up five runs, three earned, over four innings. The Astros had only two hits, with one being a first inning home run by Jose Altuve. Houston drops the series and falls to 24-and-14. The team returns home to face the Rangers tonight. Left-hander Framber Valdez toes the rubber for the Astros.
