The middle of the Red Sox infield came up huge in their 6-3 win over the Houston Astros in Boston. Second baseman Trevor Story tied the game in the seventh inning with a home run, and shortstop Xander Bogaerts hit a two-run shot for insurance in the eighth inning. Matt Strahm was credited with the win after pitching an inning and two-thirds of scoreless relief. Hector Neris was charged with the loss after allowing three runs over an inning of work.
