The Suns are putting the Mavericks on the brink of elimination. Devin Booker poured in 28 points as Phoenix crushed Dallas 110-80 in Game Five of their Western Conference semifinal series in the desert. Deandre Ayton donated 20 points for the Suns, who take a 3-2 lead in the best-of-seven set. Luka Doncic put up 28 points to lead the Mavs, who will host Game Six on Thursday. Jalen Brunson added 21, but the rest of Dallas' starting five combined for just eight points on 2-of-11 shooting.
