San Antonio will open cooling centers today to help residents get a break from the lingering heat. The high on both Saturday and Sunday was 101-degrees, making for the earliest consecutive triple-digit days ever recorded in San Antonio. The cooling centers that opened in the city's 16 libraries over the weekend will open again today during the libraries' regular business hours. In addition to the libraries, cooling centers will also be open today in nine senior centers during regular operating hours.
