State officials will investigate claims that staffers at Northside ISD were pressured to vote in Saturday's bond election. Gov. Greg Abbott announced on Saturday that Education Commissioner Mike Morath and the attorney general's office will conduct the probe. A school choice group tweeted some leaked emails from a Northside ISD principal indicating that the district's central office monitors employee voting numbers. The teachers' union endorsed the 992-million-dollar bond proposal, which voters passed on Saturday.
