4 People Escape Fiery Plane Crash Near Hobby Airport

Eyewitnesses are calling it a miracle that no one was seriously injured after a small plane crashed and caught fire near Hobby Airport in Houston

The flaming aircraft crashed into a residential area, slamming through the backyard fencing of a home just a few hundred feet away from a school.

KPRC TV reported the aircraft went down in the 8600 block of Heathglen Lane near Monroe Road and Fuqua, just feet away from Dobie 9th Grade Center.

The aircraft was a Cessna 421C Golden Eagle. Four people were on the plane and no serious injuries were reported.
