Schertz police and school administrators are investigating after a student brought an unloaded handgun to Clemens High School on Wednesday. The school's principal notified parents on Thursday that the gun was found in a plastic bag in a classroom, about an hour before the school day ended. A student has admitted he was responsible for bringing the gun to campus. The principal says there was no ammo or magazines, nobody was threatened or injured, and police have determined the student had no plans to use the gun.
