The vice principal of a local elementary school is accused of attacking a five-year-old student in her office. Bexar County deputies arrested 53-year-old Tara Hunter on Thursday at her home on a charge of assault. Sheriff Javier Salazar says the assault happened last Friday at IDEA Amber Creek on Kriewald Road, but wasn't reported to the sheriff's office until Wednesday. The child admitted to investigators that he struck Hunter in her office. Hunter then reportedly punched the child in the head and pushed him into a file cabinet.
