Rangers Fall To Mariners In Series Opener

The Rangers dropped the opener in their road series. Texas fell 6-2 to the Mariners in Seattle. Jon Gray took the loss on the mound after surrendering four runs over five innings. Marcus Semien batted in both of the Rangers' runs in the loss. Texas managed only six hits and one walk in the quiet offensive showing. The Rangers have dropped four straight to fall to 2-and-8. Texas sends right-hander Dane Dunning to the mound tonight.
