San Antonio Fire Department officials say the city has already seen more fire fatalities this year than in all of 2021. Firefighters responded to the city's 11th deadly fire of 2022 on Monday morning. There were ten fatal fires in San Antonio last year. Monday's blaze was in a vacant building on South Flores Street near Lorraine Avenue. After the fire was out, firefighters found a dead man on the floor alongside a wheelchair. His identity hasn't been released.
