The Jazz took full advantage of no Luka Doncic. Donovan Mitchell poured in 30 of his game-high 32 points in the second half as Utah edged the Mavericks 99-93 in Game One of their first round playoff series in Dallas. Bojan Bogdanovic added 26 points for the fifth-seeded Jazz, who take a 1-0 lead in the best-of-seven set. Doncic missed the game with a strained calf he suffered in the regular-season finale. Jalen Brunson netted 24 points and Spencer Dinwiddie had 22 for the Mavs, who will host Game Two on Monday.
