Texas Parks and Wildlife To Stock Two San Antonio Lakes With Fish

Two San Antonio lakes are included in the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department's plan to stock lakes with catfish this summer. As part of the Neighborhood Fishin' program, Miller's Pond and Southside Lions Park will be regularly stocked with catfish, from April 22nd to the end of October. The two lakes will be stocked every two-weeks except in August, because of the heat. About 850 catfish will be added to Miller's Pond, and more than a thousand at Southside Lions.
