Multiple fire departments continue to battle a huge brush fire at Camp Bullis. As of 5 p.m. Sunday, the fire was 50% contained and had burned an estimated 2,800 acres. Officials had said as many as 4,000 acres had burned, but said new aerial investigations have shown the number closer to 2,800. No occupied structures have burned and officials do not expect the blaze to grow past the Camp Bullis property. As a result, evacuations of nearby residential neigbhorhoods have been lifted.
