The Astros are handing their closer a two-year extension. The Athletic reports Houston agreed to terms with relief pitcher Ryan Pressly on a two-year, 30-million dollar extension. Pressly earned the commitment after posting a career-high 26 saves with a 2.25 earned run average last season. The 33-year-old was also named an All-Star in 2021, which was the second of his career. Pressly was acquired by the Astros in a trade back in 2018.
