Police say a man is in the hospital after he was shot during an argument outside of a home on the South Side on Sunday. The shooting happened shortly before noon on Chamita Drive. Police say a man went to the home and got into a fight with the homeowner. The homeowner's son reportedly intervened by shooting the man in the stomach. The wounded man is in the Brooke Army Medical Center in critical condition. Officers say the homeowner and the man are apparently longtime friends.
