The only Latina on death row in Texas is getting bipartisan support in her case for clemency. A group of lawmakers say they have questions about the trial that found Melissa Lucio guilty of capital murder in the death of her two-year-old. Plano Republican Representative Jeff Leach and other lawmakers are asking the governor to step in now that four jurors at Lucio's trial are questioning their guilty verdict. They believe false medical evidence was presented and police coerced a confession. Her execution date is one month away.
