Temporary Block On Investigations Into Families Of Trans Minors Reinstated

The temporary block on investigations into the families of transgender children in Texas is back in effect. A state appeals court reinstated the injunction on Monday, with the three justices writing that the decision is "necessary to maintain the status quo." The block was granted earlier this month by a Travis County district judge, but it was appealed soon afterward by Attorney General Ken Paxton. The injunction is connected to a lawsuit filed by the ACLU on behalf of parents of a teenager who received gender-affirming care.
