The Dallas Stars got a pair of goals from Roope Hintz in their 3-2 win over the Washington Capitals at Capital One Arena. Alexander Radulov opened the scoring early in the first period before Hintz scored once in the first and once in the second. The Stars have won two of their last three. Alex Ovechkin lit the lamp for the 40th time this season. It's the 12th time Ovechkin has scored 40 goals in the season, which ties Wayne Gretzky for most 40-goal seasons of all time. Dmitry Orlov also scored for the Caps, whose four-game winning streak comes to an end with the loss.
