Houston is heading to the Sweet 16 after eliminating Illinois from the second round of the NCAA Men's Basketball Tournament. The Cougars topped the Fighting Illini 68-53 in Pittsburgh. Taze Moore led all scorers with 21 points and tied a team-high in rebounds with seven. Jamal Shead chipped in with 18 points and three assists. Kofi Cockburn led Illinois in scoring with 19 points and in rebounds with eight.
