Baylor is advancing to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. The Bears dismantled Norfolk State 85-49 in their First Round matchup in Fort Worth, Texas. Matthew Mayer put on an impressive effort with 22 points in the lopsided victory. Joe Bryant Jr. posted 15 points in the losing effort for the Spartans. Top-seeded Baylor now prepares to take on 8th-seeded North Carolina in the Second Round of the East Region. The teams will battle for a spot in the Sweet 16 on Saturday.
