Karl-Anthony Towns' historic night led the Minnesota Timberwolves to a 149-139 win over the Spurs in San Antonio. The Wolves center set a franchise-record for single-game points as he poured in 60, including 32 in the third quarter alone. The 60-point performance is the highest single-game individual showing in the NBA this season. Minnesota has won eight of its last nine contests. Keldon Johnson had 34 points to lead the Spurs, while Dejounte Murray chipped in with 30. San Antonio has lost three of four.
