Members of both parties in a bipartisan Texas Senate committee agree the oil and gas industry needs more state oversight. The senators discussed the role played by natural gas providers during last year's deadly winter storm. The state legislature doesn't meet again until next year, but the committee got together in Austin on Wednesday to come up with ideas for legislation to step up oversight of the industry.
