The Cowboys are making moves to manage their payroll. Dallas cleared more than $22 million in cap room after reworking the deals of Dak Prescott and Zack Martin. With the extra space, the team was able to place the franchise tag on Dalton Schultz on Tuesday. That will keep the tight end with the Cowboys for another season as he is set to make $10.9 million. Dallas is still working to trim its payroll ahead of next week.
