Medical supplies from Texas is headed to Ukraine to support civilian defense efforts. The supplies was gathered by "Ukie-Style" owner Olena Jacobs, who grew up in Eastern Ukraine. She gathered the contents of several large boxes from army supply shops in the area. The boxes will be shipped out Monday to Poland and arrive in Ukraine by truck. Jacobs estimated that it would take around two weeks for the supplies to arrive. Many Ukranian-Americans in North Texas have been raising awareness and funds for the crisis even before Thursday's invasion.
