A former San Antonio police officer is under arrest nearly two-years after he was fired for misuse of his service weapon. Police arrested Oscar Cruz Jr. on Thursday night on a charge of deadly conduct with a firearm. Cruz is accused of firing two shots at juvenile suspects who were running away from him in a West Side neighborhood in March 2020. He was terminated for violating the SAPD's use-of-force procedure.
